Dr Kathawa is an amazing doctor; she will work with you and help guide you on your weight loss journey. She will give you tough love but she truly wants the best for her patients. Her staff are personable, professional, and honestly some of the best staff I have come across in a doctors office. They will work with you when it comes to appointments and are so quick with prior auths. I truly enjoy coming to my appointments and can’t wait to have more progress in my journey.

So not good experience I was recommended this place so I made an appointment to go I know I had a co-pay, but the doctor told me that she couldn’t go any further because of my prior health condition, but in the mist of that she gave me the scale test, which seem to me kind of overly priced once I get on the skill you can tell I’m obsessed and she told me to come back when I get a clearance from my doctor so it took a month or two before my doctor cleared me so I went in paid a co-pay for her to prescribe me some medication that my insurance don’t cover so when I called her and said you would have to prescribe me another prescription she told me I had to make another doctors appointment and pay another co-pay I was upset so I just say forget it maybe wasn’t meant for me to go here but My daughter goes to the same doctor and she’s getting a results and she said I just try them out again so I called today and they tell me I have a balance I say what balance I come in there with My daughter. In the last time I was there, they did me and my daughter‘s appointment at the same time in the same room and telling me I owe a co-pay for Doctor. I have seen a total of 15 minutes both times I seen her. So I made an appointment to another Doctor Who specialize in the same thing She went through my insurance said I had a co-pay told me We’re gonna go with this particular prescription if your insurance does not cover it we will go with this prescription. I asked her will I have to come back and be re-seen she said no I can just write another prescription. I guess I’m just upset because dishing out $40 every time you go here and you’re not getting any results. It’s crazy and the doctor doesn’t even stay in the room not even 10 minutes. I work too hard for my money to just give it to someone.

This is a great weight loss institute. I have struggled with weight loss due to perimenopause, and Dr. Kathawa has helped me lose 50 lbs. Highly recommend. Friendly staff too!
