Putri is nothing short of extraordinary. Her deep expertise and meticulous, science‑based approach have transformed my skin. My texture is smoother, tone more even, and I now rarely have breakouts or congestion in between sessions. She customizes every product and technique to what my skin needs and explains the “why” so I can keep the results going at home. Bonus, each visit feels like catching up with a friend - I honestly don’t know what I’d do if she ever stopped practicing!

I have been seeing Putri since 2019 (before she ventured out on her own and opened Matahari) and despite the fact that I have since moved out of the neighborhood and across the Bay, I'm thrilled that I have been able to increase my frequency and consistency in seeing her. That said, Putri never oversells me or tries to get me to come more often than needed; I treasure my ~quarterly appointments with her because they are both refreshing and relaxing. Quite the opposite of pushing me to book unnecessary treatments, Putri is so thoughtful and cost-conscious for her clients. She has done a (very small) spot-treatment peel on a stubborn sunspot as a courtesy during my facials, and she is diligent about researching excellent skincare products that are affordable so she can recommend them to her clients. She is responsive via text if I have a product or scheduling question, and she's a delight in person. She is so thorough and I truly appreciate her intentionality in thinking through my treatments with me, whether it is booking before or after a sunny vacation I've booked or how the healing process is going afterwards. As a brown person with a medium/darker complexion that can tan quickly and easily, I am so grateful to have found an esthetician who understands how my skin and skin tone will react to products and treatments. I can't say enough good things about Putri and my only (temporary) hesitation to post this glowing review for her glow-inducing care is that it can already be tricky to book with her and her busy client schedule :) She is worth the wait though--go see her!

I was recommended to Putri by my aunty. She is so thorough with her work and super insightful. The first time I met Putri, she asked me about my skincare routine. For each product, she searched the ingredients to get a better understanding of what I was using. With that, she made a skincare routine that would improve my skin. I truly appreciate that Putri takes the time to educate you on your skin type, things that aren’t working for your skin, and how to improve it. She recommended products that are super affordable for college students like myself. During my last appointment with Putri, I received a chemical peel. There was a significant change in my skin. A few days later, she checked in and asked how the healing process went. Overall, my experience with Putri has been nothing but positive.
