I was blessed for Dr Barr to be available as an on call emergency bariatric surgeon when I was transferred to Dallas Methodist with a bowel obstruction due to intestinal intussuception following an old RNY gastric bypass. Her and the surgical resident team took amazing care of me through the procedure and recovery. She was very detailed in explaining to me what happened, what she did, what my long term risks were and how to manage long term after care. Anyone considering DFW bariatric for their long term weight solutions should absolutely consider Dr Barr as their physician.
Dr. Barr is the best! She encouraged me from our first meeting. Although it took me a year to move forward with VSG, I am so glad I did! My surgical area healed without any scars. Dr. BARR is my SHERO!!! She saved my life and I am forever grateful!
Had my panniculectomy done with Dr. Barr. She was amazing throughout the whole process. Always in and out of appointments never behind. Surgery was great and recovery was detailed and made known. Office staff was even food at communicating in a timely manner as well. Highly recommend.
