Total Men's Primary Care - Downtown

I mixed up my appointment location and some other important insurance things required before I could be seen. Rather than sending me on my way the receptionist was incredibly patient and understanding and fit me in at their location. After sorting through that I was called back by the medical assistant who very sweet. She took the time to listen while updating all my information and was very thorough, I’d didn’t feel rushed or disregarded when asked the reason for my visit. The time between arriving, being checked in, updating info and seeing the provider was incredibly fast. The provider was great, he took the time to listen carefully, asked questions and even discussed each issue separately. Rather than writing a prescription and sending me on my way he took the time to explain their TRT process and even provided a referral to a cardiac specialist so that we can find if I’m a good candidate, as I have had past heart issues. It’s refreshing to be treated by a Dr and staff that care and aren’t just trying to push treatments that could pose greater health issues in the long run and get you out the door. Definitely not the experience I’ve had with other practices in the past. My mistake ended up being the best possible thing to happen, as my experience today was wonderful. Thank you again to all the staff, you were great.

First time here for my annual visit and I'm impressed with all the staff! My doctor and PA Natalia (hope I got that right) and her assistant were total angels during my blood work - quick, gentle, and painless. if you live downtown is walking distance Highly recommend this place

Today I was really looking forward to finally getting my allergy test. It had taken me three weeks just to secure an appointment since the clinic was fully booked. Before that, they required me to complete a physical exam and bloodwork in order to even schedule the test—which I went ahead and did. Because allergy testing requires preparation, I had to stop taking all allergy medications beforehand. I struggled all week with my symptoms just to be ready for today. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed ☹️. I had cleared my work schedule and cancelled other plans to be at this appointment, but just 10 minutes before my scheduled time, I was told the appointment was cancelled due to the allergist having an emergency. By then, I was already on my way to the clinic. When I arrived, the front desk staff was not very helpful. I asked if there was another location where I could be seen the same day since I had already gone through the difficult preparation. It took almost an hour for him to get back to me, only to say there was no availability anywhere. I left extremely frustrated and decided to cancel all of my future appointments with this clinic. I feel they should have a backup plan in place for situations like this. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic for allergy testing.
