Immune Therapy in Los Gatos: Building a Life of Deep Healing and Longevity Dr. Josh Donaldson at Longevity Medical Institute is knowledgeable and useful at what he does. He is continually learning. His practice specializes in Hemato Ozone therapy and immunology. He is very knowledgeable about cancer and toxic mold illness as well. When I did the first-time patient consult, he listened to my medical history and experiences (the good and the bad). I could tell he was studying my face as I answered his questions, the sign of a good doctor as they are trained to face map and face read (certain characteristics of the face can point to organ health, disease, syndromes, etc). He is not quick to write prescriptions, something important to me as I find many doctors are too fast to fill a pharmecutical before exploring other options (often preservative free, more natural, minimal side effects). After about two years of this sort of treatment, my father and I decided to begin treatment at this practice as we reside in the South Bay Area and Los Gatos is practically our own backyard - treatment locally cuts down on the travel and lodging costs in Arizona (since we were seeking treatment out of state) and we can apply these funds to the treatment instead of the travel costs. So the convenience of local and home is truly appreciated and of high value for those managing a chronic condition. He also has a new machine that can cycle more ozone to the patient at a faster rate and the pricing is a little less expensive than the clinic in Arizona. These positives make the scheduling difficulty worth the work and the wait since their staffing is limited at this time. This practice currently is only staff of two (the doctor and his medical coordinator). Also, there is only one treatment room for the IVs and more patients than they can handle. I would give them more stars, but the stress on the staff and the limited space makes scheduling very difficult and a bit stressful for those with small veins (as the doctor’s time with each patient is limited). He still offers decent service and stays with the patient until the patient is taken care of and does his best to monitor the patient. If he can’t because of a consult, he makes sure that his coordinator is in the treatment room with the patients to monitor and if there is anything she is not able to facilitate during his private consults with patients in his separate office, she can intervene and make sure it’s taken care of. Out of the two treatments I have had at his office so far (I get one a week, ideal for people with my symptoms and body composition), the second treatment I had a reaction to something (unknown). He watched my symptoms for a few minutes as I was wheezing and told him I felt like I was having a reaction to something- soon after I felt I was breathing through a straw. Before administering the medicine to reverse the reaction he asked about any known allergies. He also took a few minutes to analyze the situation, to make sure that it was a reaction and not anxiety attack (which can occur with ozone treatment, body’s response to treatment), which he determined was not. He also put an oxygen reader on my finger to monitor my oxygen levels for a little bit. The medicine he administered into my IV through a syringe was effective and counteracted the reaction - it took several minutes to respond but it worked. He checked on me several times to make sure I was okay and wasnt experiencing anymore allergy symptoms. Update: please use extreme caution when getting an iv in the foot, I experienced a clot after a foot iv that put me in the hospital. Foot iv as last resort (life or death situation) even if you have small veins as foot IVs and leg IVs are high clot risk. Other clinics were able to find veins in other places - I have small veins but they are not impossible. I think that the understaffing makes treatment a bit more risky because they are spread thin. With more staff ,better patient management, and larger clinic space would greatly improve the patient experience.

I saw Dr. Donaldson for 10 sessions of ozone therapy to help me build my immune system up after having mono and had nothing less than great results! I feel so much better now and am going to continue doing a treatment every 6 months to give my health a boost. I Love Dr. Donaldson's assistant Margo too she's very kind, generous, and empathetic to everyone and she always brings a fun and positive attitude to any treatment.
