Journey Lite of Cincinnati

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with Journey Lite. I lost about 60 pounds as a result of having gastric sleeve, and I feel more like myself than I have in years. The downfall, for me, has to be the follow-up. I can’t attend monthly at this point. If you’re considering gastric sleeve, I do urge you to consider carefully. It can be a life changing tool, but it’s just a tool. With an upside, there is always a downside. For me, it’s cross addiction. When you can no longer cope with your problems via food, you might seek out other unhealthy habits. I started smoking after years of being a non-smoker. It’s vile. Some turn to alcohol, which they do warn you about. Another consideration: if you eat too much, you will get sick. I’m told, by others, that this gets better - but 7-8 months out and I still regurgitate food occasionally. It takes some navigating, and they are there to help you. Via text, which is nice. Overall, Journey Lite is worth the five stars and presents far less barriers than other organizations.

I had my gastric sleeve surgery done at Journey Lite and they were wonderful. From my very first consultation they were kind, understanding and more than willing to answer all my questions. The follow up after surgery, all the nutrition classes, nurse check-ins, amazing! They basically stayed by my side for the entire first year. Always available anytime that I called or text. I am thankful every single day that I was able to have this procedure done and thankful to have my life back better than ever!!

Well i was told first that Dr curry fees would be waived for the first virtual visit that was a lie. They were real pushy on getting on getting things done. I was told my the dietician that i had to use their brand of food 350 dollars before surgery seems not legit. I go to Kettering where i was told i should not have the sleeve done because of acid reflux l. They never told me that at journey lite. Watch out your health important seems they don’t care and also lie about fees being waived
