Junction Naturopathic Medicine (JNM)

The office smelled like cigarettes because someone had been smoking in the hallway, and the carpeted office felt like I was visiting a doctor out of a residential building. Felt very unclean and dirty. Do NOT try and use this doctor for mental health issues, PLEASE use a trained therapist. Dr. Dan misdiagnosed my partner with his quackery and it resulted in a lot of extra therapy work and fractured lives. If naturopathy is your thing I suppose you probably like this practice, but I found it to be ineffective and fairly ridiculous. I left a review last year to this same effect and the practice managed to keep it suppressed somehow.

Feeling compelled to write a review for Dr. Nguyen, I came here to leave a review and found so many 5-star reviews already–but of course! Kind, timely, honed listening skills, efficient, and wise. She resolves issues I bring with a sense of ease and an expert hand. I am so grateful!

Where to begin. I can’t say enough good things about Junction Naturopathic. I see Dr. Nguyen on occasion and she is a wonderful, very friendly, thorough and patient physician! Dr. Dan is my primary doctor and he is fantastic! I have health anxiety, I ask endless questions, and I do have a complex medical history as well as many current issues which are way too long to explain here. Dr. Dan takes time to listen thoroughly, to come up with best treatment plan for me. He never makes me feel bad, or cuts me off for asking a lot of questions. He deserves a medal because I can get on a roll with the questions and I need lots of reassurance lol. He’s very empathetic regarding my anxiety which has been exacerbated by some recent diagnoses. As busy as he is, he always responds to my questions in a timely manner and is thorough in his responses. Besides medical treatment, I have also done bio feedback with Dr. Dan to help control my breathing and heart rate for when I have anxiety episodes , which had been getting out of control. Biofeedback has helped me make progress with learning to better manage my anxiety symptoms. Prior to coming here I went to a local clinic, and that doctor was always rushed, condescending , didn’t have patience with me and pushed meds for everything.With Junction Naturopathic, visits are 45 minutes long and you have the undivided attention of your doctor that entire time, never rushed! I’ve never been spoken down to here, and I feel like I have a voice in my care which does not include automatically shoving another prescription my way, like the last place. I’m just so glad I made the switch!! I hesitated to share my review because selfishly I don’t want them to get too busy, but I definitely want to give credit where credit was due!
