I received a certified letter from Dr. Fox’s wife, Sharon Fox, demanding that I pay $547.23 for 3 office visits because Dr. Fox fell out of network with Premera and didn’t realize it until I asked Premera why my claims weren’t being paid. I was told by numerous Premera agents that Dr. Fox’s credentials expired with them. He was able to produce documentation that he submitted his credentials that covered the time I had my office visits, but he failed to reinstate his in-network status in a timely manner to cover the visits. During those visits, the front desk clerk took my $20 co-pays on each visit and obviously didn’t know about Dr. Fox’s failure to submit the in-network paperwork because nobody from his office knew at that point. Because of this mess up on his part, payment is being demanded of me to honor those visits. Sharon is using the documentation from Premera to demand payment because it states that part about patient responsibility. As a school psychologist, I’m a professional, too, and I take full responsibility of making sure my credentials are renewed and submitted in a timely manner. I pay by insurance premiums and the costs for in-network visits. If I had known Dr. Fox fell out of network, I would have gone to another doctor that was in-network. Sharon Fox said that patients were notified that he was out-of-network. Perhaps at some point some of his patients were notified. I was never notified because I was the one who brought the information from Premera to his attention. I wrote a letter explaining why it wasn’t my responsibility. Sharon intercepted the letter and responded with the certified letter for the demand of payment. Because of this issue, I will never go back to Dr. Fox. What if it happens again?

Doctor Fox has been my doctor for about 5 years hes always very thorough and very informative he answers questions and gives details on different tests and why hes having them done . He's also available to answer questions, whenever I need him if I don't have an appointment but need to be seen he makes time to get to get me in.. He's just an amazing doctor. I'm very glad and very lucky to have found him.

I have been seeing Dr. Fox for just over 3 years and he has been nothing but awesome. I am a mid 40s Aerospace Engineer and his bedside manner is great. Never have to wait more than 5 minutes and appts can be same day or next day if needed. I had a bad arm burn and he got me in same day, it was and is always pain less to deal with him or his staff.
