To anyone who has battled with losing weight… I can tell you from growing up heavy most of my life, once I finally made the decision to have Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery under Dr. Peter Billing’s expert advice and care, it was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself physically. My surgery date was 03/23/2022. My initial expectation was to hopefully drop about 50 lbs. well I have almost exceeded that expectation by 3x and lost apprx. 120 lbs. At my peak weight I weighed 295 lbs. and I’m 5’7”. When I began my weigh loss journey with Dr. Billing I weighed 285 lbs. and this morning when I jumped on the scale it read 161 lbs. This truly has been a second chance at life for me. (A do over, if you will)! I can’t tell you how much better I feel all around, I’ve regained my self-esteem, confidence and when I began this my jeans size was 42/30, now I’m comfortably wearing 30/30. I’m 59 years old and I think I was in junior high last time I wore that size of jeans.
