Dr. Sheila Hughes Wellness and Weight Loss

I have worked with Dr. Sheila Highes on and off since my pageant days back in 2009. So we have a 15-year relationship. I LOVED the fact that she was an actual MD and could teach me how to make a lifestyle change. When I competed in Miss California USA I lost 25lbs in 5 weeks with Dr. Hughes. I started at 154lbs and got to 129lbs right before the pageant. Now this is not your standard or typical experience but I had an aggressive goal to be pageant ready and I won Miss Congeniality 2010 and this memory was all seen on National Television. I have worked with Dr. Hughes on an off throughout the years to help me lose and simply maintain my weight simply by portion control, managing a healthy diet, drinking my gallon of water per day and minimizing the social drinking that comes with work events and social lifestyle. She was definitely there for me through health challenges and I'm appreciative. Anyone who desires to lose weight in a healthy and safe manner focused on making lifestyle changes should go to Dr. Hughes. The staff is also amazing. They are the ones who help the office run so smoothly.

I have been a patient of Dr Hughes since January 2018 and it has been a great journey !!! I have been on a lo glycemic diet plan and along with some supplements in the beginning which I was able to ease off of, I have been able to loose over 36 lbs in 6 months AND eat healthy ! I've also learned how to eat healthy when traveling for work and fun which was originally a stumbling block. I have picked up the right tools to use for a successful path and Dr Hughes and Jennifer and have supportive and wonderful to work with. A+ experience

I'm an actress, a college professor and a woman who gained weight after a knee injury, I'm also the biggest fan of Dr Sheila Hughes and her nurse, Jennifer Cardoza. I guess it is also important to mention that I'm also over 40 years old which means I have some extra issues for awhile. Dr Sheila Hughes is not only a weight loss expert but she is also a wonderful problem solver who supports you by giving creative and out of the box techniques on how to sustain your new eating life style. I highly regard and trust her expertise. She is more than the trendy weight or beautification Doctor she is authentically physician who treats the TOTAL patient. And YES I've lost weight!!!!
