Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery

It’s taken me a long time to write this review, but people need to be aware. When I first went into ACPS I initially went in for consult at the med spa, but there they told me what I was needing was surgery, brachioplasty. Which I kind of figured, this was my second consultation at a plastic surgeon’s office. So instead of having me meet with one of their surgeons they have me meet with a fellowship surgeon. The fellows are also plastic surgeon’s that are there to get more in-depth experience is what I gathered, so they offer their services for a discounted rate. So I thought I was getting a great deal of course. I met with the surgeon, loved him, he was great, honest and showed me some before and after pictures of his work and I felt comfortable with proceeding with him as my surgeon. So I gave my deposit and schedule my surgery a few days later after figuring out my finances. There are a lot of other things that were off putting from ACPS that would require me to write an extremely longer review so I’ll sum it up to sever lack of communication and inability to get information before surgery. Anywho, had surgery, did my follow ups, I started noticing some creases in my arm, surgeon thought it was from the compression garment so we sized up. On my last visit the creases were still there and he thought they’d go away once all swelling was done. This was his last month there so I wasn’t going to be seeing him again. So that was that. So for over 2 years I’ve lived with my arms looking like the Michelin man, my scar has expanded and has hyperpigmentation. Revisions was never once mentioned during our visits, it could of been in all the paperwork I signed, but it was never verbally mentioned. None of my other scars have ever healed this way. Not even my c section scar. And apparently even though they have us put our trust on these fellows since they trust them, they don’t offer revision discount. I had a consultation with one of their associates for a revision and was quoted DOUBLE what I paid to end up unhappy and hating my arms more than what I did before. I know the price is for their skill and years of experience, but I also put my trust in their team to give me results I’d be happy with. So all this to say, to those looking into getting surgery through the fellowship program, be mindful. Not everyone’s results will be like mine, but in case they are, be prepared to pay a hefty price to try and rectify it. I’ll probably look for other local reputable surgeons that may offer a discounted price due to the circumstances. And if I just can’t afford it, I guess I’m stuck hating my arms for the rest of my life.

I have been going to the ACPS Med Spa on Kimberly Lane for well over a decade. Wendy is beyond wonderful. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about a variety of aesthetic procedures, her recommendations on what treatments would benefit you are spot on. My skin has never looked better at age 68 I have had a variety of treatments including lasers, peels and diamond glow treatments. If anyone is thinking about having any treatments like this, I highly recommend you call Wendy She will go above and beyond to provide you with an honest assessment of your skin care needs, and what procedures would most benefit you. I promise you, you will not regret making an appointment with Wendy!!

This was my first visit to the Med Spa and I am so thrilled to say that it was a wonderful experience! I had an appt with Christy Craig, the nurse practitioner, for my Daxxify injections. Christy is wonderful! She discusses everything in detail with you before your procedure. She is warm, welcoming (and beautiful) and she tries to get every detail about what you want to achieve during your visit. Christy and her team are extremely knowledgeable about all the different products you can use and they explained the products in detail to see which one would benefit you the most according to your desired effects. The visit was very pleasant and almost pain free. She is a master at injections! Her assistant Ari is so friendly and professional. She also was very helpful in answering questions I had before the procedure. Truly love this place and loved my experience with Christy!
