Total Men's Primary Care - Arbor Trails

Filled out my registration forms before my appointment. I got there exactly at my appointment time and was seen immediately. Courteous staff and I took care of my annual physical in no time. Smooth process and Saturday appointments makes it very convenient as well.

I had a great experience at Total Men’s Primary Care this morning. I completed my forms online ahead of time (minimal questions), checked in upon arrival, and waited less than 10 minutes before being called back. The wellness exam was quick and efficient, with the entire visit taking under 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

This facility is the worst medical facility EVER! They treated my spouse so poor he literally had a mental health breakdown. My spouse encountered 4 different people within 24 hours of booking an appointment. He’s transgender and had ALL his surgeries.(Top-bottom/FULLY TRANSITIONED-Male genitalia) When he booked online he disclosed that information in his notes and asked for someone with LGBT experience,Specifically those respectful of current gender. The next day some lady called my spouse telling him after reviewing his chart that he needs to go to a total primary care clinic not one for Men’s Care but one that see women & children. A few hours later, Another lady called my spouse name (Angel) who said she had to confirm with the provider if the provider was comfortable seeing him because he’s transgender and ask if he is comfortable seeing the provider. They kept trying to talk him into going somewhere else. Then (Jay) called my spouse telling him that their policy is that ONLY “biological men” can be treated there for Testosterone Replacement Therapy if they have low testosterone and that the company (Total Men’s Primary Care) does not treat transgender males if they need Hormone Replacement Therapy. (Which is Testosterone) and since my spouse wasn’t born male they can’t help him. Jay went on saying he’s been working there for years and they will not treat any transgender males with TRT only biological males.My spouse asked is that in their policy and Jay said yes. Donna the text person is also extremely rude and has an attitude. She’s very unprofessional and obviously she doesn’t communicate with the rest of the staff. All 4 people that contacted my spouse weren’t communicating with each other. Overall this is the worst place anyone LGBT can encounter.
