This is borderline ILLEGAL People check your charts and always Insist on seeing the doctor because your insurance allows it. The office will write a doctor has seen you whether you did or not! I have this office registered as my PCP. Usually, I’m seen by a NP, which I didn’t mind in the past. It was rare for the doctor himself to come in during my visits. Two weeks ago, I called to schedule an appointment specifically to see the doctor. However, during that visit, I was again seen by an NP. I didn’t mind at the time because I was in a rush, but recently I’ve been dealing with ongoing issues and wanted to be evaluated directly by the doctor. This time, when I called to make the appointment, I clearly stated that I wanted to see the doctor only and noted that I didn’t get to see him last time. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM. After the MA took my vitals, I waited in the room for over an hour. I stayed because I heard the doctor speaking in the hallway and assumed he would come in. After waiting for more than an hour, an NP entered the room. I told him I had requested to see the doctor. The NP replied that he was just as qualified as the doctor. From his tone and how long I waited inside, I realized the doctor had already left the clinic. I didn’t want to leave after waiting so long, but the situation was frustrating. The NP then pulled up my chart on his iPad and began reviewing notes from my last visit. He claimed that the doctor had seen me at that previous appointment, which was not true. When I corrected him, he dismissed my statement, saying the chart indicated otherwise. The rest of the visit consisted mainly of him summarizing the chart, and I eventually walked out. I called my Insurance and reported this office. Not for having an NP see me, but for documenting that the doctor saw me when he did not. That’s borderline fraudulent billing behavior.

My experience at Life Medical Center was excellent. Dr. Mike Eldirani and Dr. Raishouni are very caring and patient. They take their time to listen, answer all your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The staff are also kind, professional, and welcoming.

I made an appointment specifically to see Dr. Mike, hoping to establish him as my primary care provider based on the great reviews. When I first came in, I was seen by NP Fatima, who was amazing. She ordered labs and explained that I would follow up with Dr. Mike after the results came in so we could officially establish care. Unfortunately, this is where everything went downhill. After two weeks of hearing nothing about my labs, I had to chase down the results myself. When I finally called to schedule a follow-up with Dr. Mike, I was informed that he only works three days a week—all during my work hours. I rearranged my schedule and even took two hours off work to make this appointment, only to find out that I wouldn’t be seeing Dr. Mike again, but instead NP Khalil Hamadi without any notice. Khalil seemed completely unfamiliar with my case and my concerns. He began explaining my lab results to me like I was a child, even though I made it clear that I understood them especially my low testosterone levels, which was a real concern. He didn’t understand basic testosterone dosing math, going back and forth with me about something as simple as 0.25 of 200 vs. 0.5 of 100. He also had no knowledge of treatments clearly listed on the clinic’s own website, such as medications for men’s hair loss and peptides. The breaking point was when he insisted on a drug test before prescribing my regular testosterone medication, claiming it was “protocol.” I have never been asked to do this in any other clinic, and it felt completely disrespectful and accusatory especially since I wasn’t asking for any Schedule II controlled drugs or narcotics. I was furious. I took time off work to see Dr. Mike to make him my pcp, only to be treated like a suspect and shuffled to someone completely unprepared to address my concerns. When I complained to the front desk, they denied ever scheduling me with Dr. Mike, even though that was the entire purpose of my appointment from the beginning. I even got confirmation emails and the MA informed he's going to grab the Dr. This clinic wasted my time and treated me with disrespect. If new patients can’t actually be seen by the doctor, don’t advertise availability. At the very least, please train staff like Khalil Hamadi on the basics of testosterone therapy, the services your clinic advertises, and how to treat patients with respect.
