Cannot recommend Optimal Health of Houston enough!!! I’ve been seeing Laura Mendez for only 4 months now and she’s already made such a positive impact on my life. She’s looked at things that 3 different endocrinologist had yet to look at for my thyroid and hoshimotos. Almost being 30 now and having my son my hormones tanked. I had no idea why I felt so awful all the time. With the hormone replacement therapy she’s managed to completely bring up my energy and overall well being within 3 months time. She has looked at my body as a whole and I appreciate the level of care and detail she takes with each appointment I have with her. My health plan alone was over 50 pages long, it speaks to her genuine love of her patients and care of her work. Her attention to detail, comprehensive testing, and clear explanations set her apart from any doctor I’ve seen. She truly listens, takes the time to understand the whole person, and provides thoughtful, individualized care. It’s rare to find a person who combines such expertise with genuine compassion. I’m so thankful for the level of care and support she provides.

Practitioner Mendez is a wealth of knowledge. She studies your case and helps get to the reason for your illness, not just giving you something for the symptoms. I went to several traditional doctors without help, after seeing her she gave me information/advice that actually aided my GI problems. I am sincerely grateful for that.
