This is the first time a doctor has ever spent over 30 minutes talking with me. He asked lots of questions and I finally felt like someone understood my issues. I was impressed with the fact that they looked at a complete blood work panel and reviewed everything with me. My testosterone was low and my estrogen was high for a guy my age. We set up a testosterone replacement treatment plan that I am excited about. They offer some pretty extensive lab panels such as vitamins and micronutrients,etc. too... I'll probably get some of that stuff done at my follow up visit

I'm 42 years old with no medical problems. I definitely want to do whatever I can to stay active and be proactive about my health. Unfortunately, over the past few years I can't seem to find the energy to workout and it's getting harder to stay in shape. I called around a few places I found online and asked about testosterone replacement. I chose to work with Optimal Health Medical Group because there was no charge to get my blood work done and meet with the doctor. I was very impressed to find out that they do so much more than testosterone replacement therapy. They do a whole list of blood tests and can even do genetic testing. At my consultation, I found out that I was anemic and I had low testosterone and the doctor spent about 45 minutes with me. I have been on testosterone replacement for two months now and feel I like a new man.... or at least like I felt 15 years ago!

The doctor and staff at Optimal Health were awesome. From my original web inquiry all the way through to my consult with the doctor I was extremely pleased. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. Their office manager and nurse were great about returning emails and phone calls and Dr. Nielsen took a fair amount of time going over everything with me very thoroughly.
