If you are considering reaching out this practice and willing to use your savings or making a huge financial effort by paying out of pocket their very expensive fees, read this first… Almost 3 years ago, my desperation about finding balance and improve my health leaded me to approach this practice. I knew it was going to be an out of pocket expense , even though I had health insurance, but again I needed help to feel better since the internal medicine doctors under my health insurance were useless and seems to be more interested on "label" me as a sick person and put me on every medicine under the sky. After almost $6,000 dollars paid in "retainer" fees + very expensive lab tests/hormone tests (average of 500 per visit ) , I decided to provide feedback to this practice. I had already pointed out via phone almost 4 months ago that in almost 3 years , no one ever called me to check on me, no one ever followed up on me to see how I was doing , so customer service was very deficient, and every time I will call the practice it was all about you need to come over and spend more money wanting me to have lab tests every 3 months. The "retainer" fee of $350 /every 3 months apparently did not offer anything else...not even 1 wellness benefit, which I know they offer separately , of any kind nor included any service or discount percentage against my tests/labs. I realized that the retainer was pretty much just having the "right" to reach out the practice and that was it. I sent the email with the feedback , and all I got back today was : " I will cancel it , have a good day".. I guess the response should have not surprised me. Such a careless response simply confirmed to me that they didn't mind at all loosing me as a patient nor reflected the most minimum intention of keeping me as a customer and/or improve the service. I am aware that rich people in metro Atlanta might be able to pay their fees and feel just fine with it, but it is just un-ethical to treat /assume that it is the same for all your patients. I have nothing against the personnel as people , but after looking at my situation with the statements in hand, the quality of service received vs the high cost that I have paid as a patient and the results do not compensate. For the amount of money paid , the practice could have offered much more and specially truly show the patients that they genuinely care and that is not all about the money.
