The Doctor

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I am genuinely so appalled by the services here that I want to warn others. I’ve spent months going back and forth about incorrect bills and charges for providers I never even saw or spoke with. Despite repeatedly requesting itemized bills, I’ve received no clear answers, only more confusing charges. On top of that, I had multiple incredibly uncomfortable appointments with one of their doctors. She missed two scheduled appointments, and I even took photos of myself waiting on Zoom for proof, yet The Doctor LA still tried to charge me for both. This isn’t the first time they have attempted to charge me for services I didn’t receive. When I finally did meet with this doctor, she immediately doubled my Lexapro dose from 20mg to 40mg. That dosage does not even exist as a safe or standard option. I trusted her judgment but ended up extremely sick and awake all night for numerous days. My body went into shock. At the follow-up, which I was forced to schedule just to get my medication managed, she made me feel uncomfortable and even frustrated that I wanted to go back down to 20mg. She refused and prescribed 30mg instead. At that point, I decided to never return. When I explained what happened to my new doctor, they were shocked that anyone would prescribe 40mg of Lexapro. It is completely inappropriate and unsafe. Between the unprofessional behavior, missed appointments, unsafe prescribing, and shady billing practices, I truly cannot believe this place is still operating. They text like customer service bots, avoid accountability, and show no professionalism. Please save yourself the stress, money, and risk. Do not go here.

I loved having more time to talk about my health in a supportive group. The shared appointments made me feel seen and heard — not just by my doctor but by people walking a similar path. It’s like having a team cheering you on while you learn how to take better care of yourself. If you’ve ever wanted more time, more answers, and more support, this is 100% for you. I left feeling encouraged, informed, and actually excited about managing my health.

Great experience at The Doctor! The service is always on time, and the staff is friendly and professional. They really care about their patients and make you feel comfortable every visit. The office is clean, modern, and well organized. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care in West Hollywood.
