I really wanted to give this place a fair chance because of the glowing 5-star reviews, but after my experience, I feel compelled to share. I typically don’t leave reviews, but I think it's important to highlight the issues I encountered. This place attempted to charge me a $90 no-show/cancellation fee, even though I reached out explaining that I suffer from chronic migraines, and this particular one lasted several days. Despite my explanation, they attempted to charge me the fee immediately after I informed them about my condition. I had to send a formal email to request that the fee be waived, which they eventually agreed to. However, the tone of the conversation was dismissive, almost treating me like a child by warning me not to remove my card to avoid charges in the future. This lack of empathy for my medical condition felt like a red flag, especially since they seemed more focused on following procedure than understanding my situation. When I decided not to continue with their services, they left the charge active through Headway, which then tried to process the payment again. This affected my sessions with another provider, which was frustrating. In the end, I had to contact Headway to prove that the fee was waived. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a negative impression of the place. If you're dealing with medical issues, be cautious, as they seem to prioritize strict adherence to procedures rather than considering individual circumstances. While I understand the need for policies, the way this was handled was disappointing. I’d appreciate it if you do not respond to this review, as I’ve already expressed my concerns. I’m simply sharing my experience and do not require any further discussion on the matter.
