When I first came to Leah at Mountain Roots over a year ago it was after a lifetime of bouts of unexplained sickness and things just kept getting worse. I could never find the ROOT CAUSE or any help or answers within the traditional medicine system and was passed from specialist to specialist. Within our FIRST consultation and meeting after REALLY intently listening to my health history, she suspected a few things, immediately started me on a protocol to get me less inflamed and feeling better to do some more testing… which proved her theory correct! Genetically I cannot detox well and had mold poisoning as well as possible other toxins in my system. Working with Leah has been such a joy, her personality and positive upbeat manner make it less intimidating and prepared me to really make the changes I need to get well and more importantly… stay well. She always provided me with support, follow ups, insight on subjects I couldn’t quite comprehend, and even recommended some amazing books for me! I moved a few times through treatment for my partner’s job and even though that created challenges, Leah always found a way to make sure I got what I needed when I needed it, eliminating SO much stress. Leah Hughs & her assistant Gisele are a great team! I have never felt better in my life & I am 66 years old. I feel very lucky to have found Mountain Roots Holistic. Leah keeps close tabs on my blood work for hormone, vitamin & thyroid (etc.) levels. Right now all is just where it should be thanks to her diligence & caring nature. Leah saved my life! I experienced severe neuroinflammation after covid with severe anxiety. It was debilitating and I couldn’t work.
