I've been a patient of Dr. Parker's since August 2022, and I can honestly say she's been transformational for my health journey. From our very first appointment, I felt an immediate connection with her genuine compassion and empathy – but what really sets her apart is her incredible thoroughness in addressing every aspect of my health. Dr. Parker takes the time for lengthy, meaningful conversations that actually get to the root of issues. Through her careful listening and comprehensive approach, she identified hormone imbalances and cardiovascular risks that previous providers had missed. What I love most is how she tailors her treatment specifically to my needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Her educational style is fantastic – she empowers you to truly understand and take ownership of your health. Even though I've since moved to California and had to find a new local provider, Dr. Parker and I maintain our connection through occasional check-ins. Dr. Parker is one of the most brilliant and caring doctors that I have had the pleasure of working with. I have been working with Dr. Parker since 2016 for fibromyalgia, sleep, weight, hair and nail growth, pre-menopause symptoms etc, and out of all the doctors that I have ever seen, she is the only one who took the time and sat down and explained the necessary tests, the bloodwork results and the reason for each prescription, vitamin, and medicine. Dr. Parker made sure that I understood the discovery process as she looked at every nuance to make sure that we are gathering the data to track my progress to a healthier me. Today I am at my optimal best than I have ever been at and I attribute that to Dr. Parker’s careful discovery and explanations. I feel so much better and healthier and I can breathe better and sleep better and move better, less pain, so many benefits mentally and physically, it is amazing the difference it has had in my life!! My health feels better than it has in years. My nails and hair are growing again and I actually feel less tired, less aches and pains, and more energetic, and motivated, maybe even feel younger, and the bioidentical hormones are doing wonders.

In 2003 I was treated for a HER2neu -, estrogen+ breast cancer. In 2006 I removed both ovaries to help prevent further cancer. This sent me freefalling into menopause. I was sent to a women's health provider for menopause care who was associated with a reproductive clinic. Because of my estrogen + breast cancer the docs had to be careful of my treatment options. The typical hand on the shoulder, the look of pain and the only treatment was...nothing...So, I felt ignored and hopeless. I wasn't even 50 years old. 11 years later I was diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer to which I chose to have a total mastectomy in 2014. Still, no help with my menopause symptoms which are now worsening to the point of severe vaginal dryness and pain, depression and weight gain. I started searching for a new women's health provider. I found NAMS (North America Menopause Society) and found Karen Parker who was a member. The first meeting was extraordinary. I felt like I was being heard, finally. She didn't respond with a "there, there...aging for women is difficult". No! She did a thorough lab assessment and evaluated what my deficiencies were, listened to my symptom complaints, worked WITH me to develop a comprehensive care plan. She is an amazing, smart, empathetic and understanding women's health care provider. I have recommended her to all my friends. My husband thanks her for bringing back ME to my marriage. I lost 15 lbs over the course of the year and am back to my pre-wedding weight, improved our intimacy, increased my energy with our new care plan. I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Karen!
