I have been a patient at Modern Med for about 8 months now, receiving multiple services including hormones, glp1, medication management and more. This is truly a place that treats the whole person rather than individual aspects. When I went in for my first appointment, I felt miserable and had pretty much given up hope of ever feeling better. Countless doctors dismissed my concerns and sent me out the door, never giving me more than 10 minutes to discuss them and hear me out. My experience at Modern Med gave me a life changing perspective. I have never encountered such exceptional bedside manner from a doctor as I have at Modern Med. While Dr. Kenji Oyasu is my primary doc, I have seen all of the providers during my care here and not one has let me down. They listen attentively and empathically and give you the time you need during appointments to ask questions and share concerns. Not only do they treat the presenting issues, they take the time to educate on the hows and whys. They don’t just send off scripts with instructions on the bottle. The office staff is exceptional and they make you feel comfortable, relaxed and right at home. I would hands down recommend this practice to anyone. I have referred my parents and loved ones and trust this clinic with all of our care. Oh! and Dr. Kenji is viral on TikTok! I’m not one to be at a loss for words, nor one to be dramatic so this is a hard review to write. Dr. Oyasu saved my life. Not literally as I wasn’t truly dying, I just felt like I was. I saw so many “HRT specialists,” and spent so much money. None of them LISTENED. Dr. Oyasu did. My body was so broken. I was miserable and at a loss. So much felt so wrong. He fixed me. I am a different person now. I’m on top of the world. I have ME back. I may even be a better version of me than I’ve ever been. I can’t say enough about how much he helped me. You would be doing yourself a huge disservice by not seeing him.

Dr Oyasu and ModernMed Chicago have changed my life! My energy levels are drastically improved, overall body composition and strength are greatly improved! If I had known about this treatment, I would’ve started 15 years earlier. Thank you!!
