A Woman’s Time

One of the friendliest dr. offices I have interacted with in a while. And so helpful. Dr. Hudson listened to my concerns and we had a great dialogue about my health and next steps. I felt involved and heard and that’s important to me. I’m so glad I found this practice.

They literally contacted me via the online chart service 2 days after my first visit and wrote that there are too many health issues and they couldn't help me. They wrote that they would contact me with a referral but that never happened. The front desk people are rude. I tried to give them my insurance information when I first made the appointment but when I got there they said they didn't know I had 2 insurances when they tried to charge me for the visit. I've never had a doctor's office of any kind tell me that they couldn't help me because I was too broken. Maybe they could have started with just one issue to see if they can help me with that but they didn't even try. It's just wrong in so many ways. So much for the Hippocratic Oath.

Here's a long overdue review regarding the care I received by Dr Tori Hudson @ A Woman's Time (from when I lived in Portland for many years.) Dr Hudson was kind, intuitive and very knowledgeable. I received outstanding care from her and her team consistently over many years. Now that I am living in another state in the southern US while caring for a family member, I have searched high and low to try and find another amazing Naturopath to pick up my care where she left off. No luck yet but this search has made me realize how lucky I was to have her as my Doctor for as long as I did. She was not only my trusted medical care provider, but while I was her patient my Mom got diagnosed with terminal stage 4 Cancer and eventually passed away. Not only did Dr Hudson stay professionally tuned in to my overall health during that very challenging time, but she also recognized my fragile state of mind and made sure I sought out grief counseling (that to this day I credit as my saving grace). Looking back I realize how incredibly fortunate I was to have her as my Doctor for so many reasons. And I will be forever indebted to her for her compassion and support through one of the most painful experiences of my life. Very highly recommend her and her clinic. Thank you~
