Audrey Koh, MD (Associates In Obstetrics and Gynecology)

I’m not one to leave bad reviews often, but hoping this might help others in their OB-GYN search. Two stars instead of one for low wait time, but now I see why no one was there. Roughest pap smear I ever had, and Dr. Koh was impatient, dismissive and rude, and it felt like I was wasting her time during my annual exam (during which I didn’t have anything to bring up or much to say, but was cut off after saying a few words when answering her questions, multiple times). OB-GYN appointments are one where a patient feels vulnerable and invested, and there are much better doctors out there to work with for it

Our adolescent daughter was in need of a highly skilled gynecologic surgeon for laparoscopic cystectomy of large cysts in both ovaries. In addition to the usual risks of such a surgery was the threat of her being rendered infertile. As we searched for a surgeon to perform this high stakes surgery, we felt hopeless until meeting with Dr. Koh. Dr. Koh was highly recommended by a well respected physician in the Bay Area. Upon contacting Dr. Koh, our daughter was scheduled for an initial consultation in a timely manner and for surgery 5 weeks later. Dr. Koh’s office staff were professional and kind, especially Omnia, whose thoughtful and caring attention was immensely helpful during a very difficult time. Dr. Koh and her assistant surgeon Dr. Kardos successfully removed both cysts and saved both ovaries. During every encounter, Dr. Koh was confident, considerate, compassionate, thorough and patient. Dr. Koh and her team responded to all questions and concerns promptly and patiently. Dr. Koh is an outstanding physician and surgeon. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Koh and her team for caring for our daughter.

Dr. Koh has delivered two of my babies and I felt incredibly supported by her during both pregnancies, and during labor. I recently moved 45 minutes away from her office and look forward to making the drive to see her each year for my exams. She is very welcoming, friendly, and professional. During my prenatal visits I would arrive with a book of questions (worried first time mom!). She never seemed hurried or rushed when speaking with me, and I felt that she genuinely cared and wanted me to have all of my questions answered and feel comfortable. Both labors were long, and during the first she came back to the hospital, when she was not on call, to deliver my baby who had an elevated heart-rate and was under distress. That's dedication to a patient unparalleled to anything I've experienced in the past. For the second labor, she came in and delivered my baby during a difficult delivery two weeks early. I would not have wanted anyone else to deliver my child. She took charge of the delivery room in a professional, quick, kind way, and kept everyone calm, and ensured my baby was safely delivered. Dr Koh is professional, knew how to guide my care during pregnancy, and would take time with me without feeling rushed. She is incredibly nice and caring - and now my kids like to come back in and say hello to her too. It's a small practice and feels like a family to me. She's a fantastic choice and I highly recommend her.
