In all my years of going to doctors this is the worst experience I have ever had. The doctor was dismissive, even making faces while talking to them. Halfway through, she made up her mind of what was wrong with me and stopped listening, even though I had been already tested for mold. By far the worst doctor visit that I ever had, very unprofessional, walked out after 20 minutes, felt more like a sales pitch than a doctor’s visit.

Dr. Wittels gave me my life back after countless others blew me off. I was sick to the point that I had more days than not that I couldn't leave my bed. I eventually started having word / memory loss and this was my breaking point. I heard about Dr. Wittels through a friend and was desperate so I booked my appointment and drove more than two hours to see her for each visit. She accepts insurance which was HUGE because most LLMD's do not and are expensive. I paid very little out of pocket and had many tests run. The first time meeting her, we sat in an office that didn't feel like your typical office - it was cozy and relaxing to be in. She allowed me to speak and tell my entire list of outrageous, unbelievable symptoms without interrupting me. After my first visit, I cried because it was the first time any doctor had ever listened and actually believed me. She ran tests and treated me, mostly with natural supplements. In my experience, Lyme doctors seem to keep their patients sick to guarantee the return business. Dr. Wittels only concern seemed to be to get me better, whether or not that meant I stopped coming. After about two months, I finally started feeling like myself again. Now, almost two years later, I am mostly symptom free. Although I still suffer from mild lyme symptoms, I am able to live a happy, active life again thanks to Dr. Wittels. I am asked constantly who my doctor was by so many people who are suffering and I am always quick to refer anyone to her. If you have Lyme Disease and you want your life back - Dr. Wittels is the person to see.

I was very sick after a tick bite and still felt very ill after my family doctor prescribed one month of antibiotics. I needed a specialist and Dr. Wittels saw me immediately. She prescribed a very aggressive treatment after I diagnosed positive for tick bite co-infections, including Babesia. She was very generous with her time, as she spent over 45 mins with me in each of our appointments. She is extremely knowledgeable and up to date with the recent treatments. At one point I felt, and from hearing stories of others with similar conditions, that my life would be impacted negatively for the rest of my life because of this tick bite. Fortunately, I found Dr Wittels. Her treatment has been completed for over 4 months now and I feel better than I ever have!
